From plays such as ROMEO AND JULIET, AS YOU LIKE IT, MACBETH, TAMING OF THE SHREW, and many more, enjoy a Shakespearean community theatrical performance through monologues, duologues, and sonnets.

Off a Globe Theatre inspired backdrop, with a live DJ and host as the guiding light, we invite you to journey to a Shakespearean theatrical experience. In the open-air amphitheater at the beautiful Bullard Wash Park in Goodyear, Arizona; come be inspired by the Heroines; the female characters in Shakespeare’s plays and in an open mic format, fall in love with Shakespeare’s Sonnets; a one-stanza, 14-line poem, delivered by Arizona’s diverse community of spoken word artists.

Play synopsis:

A chilling account of history, love and remembrance!

Mamie Albritton is trapped in the sting of her husband's death. Her quest to be freed from the memories leads her down a path of mental and emotional collapse. When she gives voice to her questionable memories and tragic stories, her grandson, Michael, seeks professional help from therapist, Bridgette Means. The three begin to unravel the stories, iron out Mamie's confusion and help her find her way back – but a history of brutality and strife unfolds.
